Terms of Use

The basic rules for using this website: the information is general, requests are not contracts, and repair work is agreed separately.

Last updated: September 30, 2026. By using this website you agree to these terms.

General information only

The guides on this site explain how walk-in coolers and freezers work and why they fail. They are general information, not advice for your specific equipment. Only a technician who has inspected your unit can tell you what is wrong with it.

Requests are not contracts

Sending a request through the form does not create an agreement for repair work. Any work, price and schedule is agreed directly between you and the technician before work starts.

Prices and availability

Nothing on this site is a quote. Prices depend on the equipment, the parts, the access and the time of day. Availability depends on the technician.

Using the site

Do not use the form to send spam, threats or false requests. Do not copy the site's content wholesale or republish it as your own. Short quotations with a link back are fine.

Safety

Work on refrigerant, electrical panels and rooftop or ladder equipment can cause injury or death and is regulated. Follow the safety notes in each guide, and hire a qualified technician for those jobs. Read the disclaimer for more.

We link to government and industry sources so you can check facts. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and the date above will change. Questions can be sent through the contact page. See also the privacy policy.

Walk-in acting up? Tell us what it is doing.

Describe what you see: the temperature, whether the fans run, any ice. You will get a clear next step, not a sales script.

Give a phone number or email so we can reach you. Do not send card numbers or passwords.
